Our goal at Devoteam is to build a culture where people genuinely enjoy working together.
This culture is powered by open collaboration, clear goals, and the freedom to innovate. We know that taking our work seriously doesn't mean we can't have fun.
Shared experiences, laughter, and a strong team spirit are the secret ingredients to our success and our lasting legacy.

May
This Mother’s Day, we are celebrating the important role of mothers and the impact they have in our lives, both at home and beyond. As part of this initiative, we asked some colleagues to share a piece of advice their mothers have given them, highlighting the wisdom and guidance that continue to shape their journey.
On May 13th, join us for the next Tech & Snack session — where Project Ishimura will be presented, a multi-agent AI system developed by the Creative Tech team for the Global AI Hackathon 2026, with Team Ishimura.
We’ll show how Ishimura cuts consulting proposal creation from 30 hours to 20 minutes by orchestrating 9 AI agents in a declarative system, from briefing analysis to automated Google Slides with real Eagle pricing data, and briefly cover its LangGraph and FastAPI-based, model-agnostic multi-LLM architecture, followed by a live end-to-end demo.
"Semana Aberta" na Jazzy
To officially launch our partnership with Jazzy Dance School, we’re offering all Devoteam employees a free weekly pass!
From May 18th to May 25th, you’ll be able to attend any dance classes you want, at any Jazzy studio.
To book your classes, simply contact the studio directly and make your reservation. Just mention that you’re from Devoteam and would like to enjoy the open week offer.
Take this opportunity to try new dance styles, get moving, and have fun!
Voluntariado CASA
This May, we’re partnering with CASA for a social responsibility initiative 💙
Until 22 May, we’re collecting food and hygiene items at the Lisbon office (Front Office, 9th floor) to support those in need.
On 22 May at 17:30, we’ll also be heading out for a volunteering activity distributing food on the streets, and we’re looking for 9 volunteers to join us.
Every contribution, whether goods or time, makes a difference.
April
Easter Egg Hunt
Last Easter, we organized a fun Egg Hunt. On April 1st, we hid 11 eggs across our intranet, and the challenge was to find them as quickly as possible. The first 5 employees to submit all the answers in the form won a large chocolate egg.
Yoga Session
To celebrate Physical Activity Day and World Health Day, we organized a hybrid Yin yoga session on April 6th, held in the Lisbon office and online, led by our HRBP, Carolina Oliveira. It was a moment to relax, recharge, and focus on well-being.
On April 15th, we held a session focused on Project Management, featuring speaker Rita Cabral. The session covered Waterfall and Agile methodologies, the roles of Project Manager and Product Owner, and shared best practices for successful project delivery.
Our April Devohours had an Easter twist, bringing colleagues together to relax and unwind after work. The events took place from 18:00 to 21:00 in Porto & Aveiro on April 23 and in Lisbon on April 30, with a fun quiz adding extra energy to the evening.
March
Whether it’s exploring new AI tools or discovering ways to make our daily work smarter, this 15–30 minute session is all about learning and growing together.
On March 6 at 12:00, we joined our finalists in the Portuguese Women in Tech Awards, for a conversation as they shared their experiences, challenges, and achievements, celebrating inspiring personal and professional journeys.
This Father’s Day, we celebrated the important role of fathers and the impact they had in our lives, both at home and at work. We created separate versions to recognize both our fathers colleagues or them as fathers. It was a day to reflect on the support, guidance, and inspiration they provided every day.
Whether it’s exploring new skills or discovering ways to grow in your career, this 15–30 minute session is all about learning and developing together.
February
Whether it’s exploring new AI tools or discovering ways to make our daily work smarter, this 15–30 minute session is all about learning and growing together.
On 12 February at 17:00, we joined Cátia Santos (Distributed Cloud) for a conversation as she shared her journey from Biology to Data Analysis and her passion for science communication.
Small messages can make a big difference. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we created a wall of recognition where you could share appreciation, gratitude, and kind words with your colleagues. On 16 February, many of you stopped by your office, grabbed a post-it, and left a message to help us build a mural full of positivity and connection.
Whether it’s catching up with colleagues or unwinding after a busy week, our monthly Devohour was all about connecting, sharing laughs, and enjoying together. You joined us at the offices – Porto & Aveiro on 19 February and Lisbon on 26 February – with a fun quizz to spice up the evening!
Last year's initiatives
In 2025, we promoted several initiatives that strengthened our sense of community. We celebrated key dates and awareness days, such as Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Children’s Day, Physical Activity Day, Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween. We also created moments of connection and fun, including Golden Vibes, Tech & Snack, Devohours and small in-office treats. These initiatives helped reinforce our culture and team spirit. At Christmas, we hosted a toy donation drive, served hot chocolate and cookies, and welcomed our employee's families with Devokids, reinforcing our spirit of sharing and togetherness.
