Data Protection Coordinator
Data Protection Coordinator
As part of our ongoing commitment to data protection and GDPR compliance, each area or operating unit at Devoteam Portugal has appointed a Data Protection Coordinator (DPC).
These Coordinators serve as key facilitators between their teams and the Data Protection Officer (DPO), helping to ensure that data protection is effectively embedded into our daily operations.
A Data Protection Coordinator is a designated team member responsible for supporting the implementation of data protection best practices within their area or unit.
Data Protection Coordinator's Responsibilities Include:
Acting as the first point of contact for the DPO within their area.
Ensuring that all personal data processing is communicated to the DPO for registration in Dastra, Devoteam Group’s GDPR compliance tool.
Supporting the identification of cases requiring:
a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with clients or subcontractors.
a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) when data is processed in Devoteam systems.
Promoting data protection awareness and good practices across their teams.
Assisting with incident reporting and ensuring that any issues involving personal data are promptly reported via Service Desk > Security & Data Privacy > Information Security Weakness / Event / Incident.
