Compliance
Your Role in Devoteam's Compliance
Employee's Responsibilities
At Devoteam, we all play a crucial role in ensuring that the Company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, security, and operational excellence, all Employees are responsible for:
Familiarising Yourself with Policies and Standards
All employees are required to read, understand, and comply with all corporate standards, policies, and procedures, including, but not limited to, Data Protection Policies, Information Security Policies, and Data Privacy Regulations (e.g., GDPR). Lack of knowledge of these policies will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.
Ensuring Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards
Employees are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the highest ethical standards and follow all applicable legal requirements relevant to their roles. This includes respecting data protection rules, maintaining confidentiality, and preventing conflicts of interest.
Reporting Non-Compliance and Concerns
If you become aware of any non-compliance or potential breach of policies, regulations, or ethical standards, it is your responsibility to report it immediately. This can be done through the appropriate channels, such as Devoteam's Ethical Alert System or by contacting the Devoteam Portugal Compliance Team at pt.compliance@devoteam.com.
Protecting Company Assets and Resources
Employees must protect Devoteam's resources, including information systems, intellectual property, and physical assets. You are responsible for using these resources securely and responsibly, in line with the IT Charter and Information Security Policies.
Engaging in Continuous Learning
Compliance is an ongoing effort. Employees are expected to stay informed about updates to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards by regularly checking this page and participating in relevant training sessions or workshops.
Supporting Continuous Improvement
As part of the ongoing commitment to compliance and operational excellence, employees are encouraged to contribute suggestions for improving policies, procedures, and our overall compliance practices.
Failure to comply with these corporate standards, policies, and procedures may result in disciplinary actions as outlined in the Devoteam's Disciplinary and Grievance Process. Compliance is not just a legal requirement, but a fundamental part of our commitment to sustainability, reliability and trust.
By adhering to these responsibilities, we all contribute to fostering a culture of compliance and integrity within Devoteam. Your active participation is vital to maintaining the trust and legal standing of our organisation.
